Transmission control module
Hey everyone. My 1.8L 406 ( petrol automatic 2003 ) has the SIEMENS S118047804 D transmission control module (AL4 gearbox). I searched the web and found modules with the same code(S118047804) but with a different letter (C/D/A), or with a different code altogether, but they are all stating to be compatible with the 406. So what is the difference between them? What do the letters mean? And if I were to change it and couldn't find one with the same code, how do I know what module with which code to put in my car?

Hi
You want to be matching up the part number (the part number beginning 96******) on the right of the label. This is the part number and matching this will ensure you get the correct one for your vehicle.
So you need part number: 9642158680. If you Google this you should fine matching units.
