Lexia Fault Erasing - After-Sales Clocking Up!

Post by Rhothgar »

One thing I've been meaning to ask as I have been using the Lexia a lot is this:-

When you erase fault codes it tells you that you have upto 50 reads of an ECU.

My after sales counter on the HDi is now on read 30.

What happens when I get to 50? Is it possible to reset it somehow?

PLEASE don't tell me it'll mean a complete uninstall and reinstall of the software or I'll be getting really au-fait with it soon... \:D/

No, ignore that, it doesn't mean reads of an ECU at all. It's just stored slots available - it will continue reading as normal. It is just that there is only room for storing 50 logs. Once you erase codes at 51 times, it overwrites the logs, that's all.
