DS7 Headlights

Post by Iansel »

Does anyone know if it is possible for me to adjust the height of the dipped headlights on a 2019 DS7 Prestige or is this a dealer only adjustment.

If you have halogen or Xenon lamps, then you can only adjust the lamps using the load levelling switch (3 modes - 5 people, 5 People & boot load, Driver & boot load). Settings 4-6 are not used.

If you have full LED headlamps, then no, because they change their beam pattern, intensity, range and spread automatically depending on driving conditions and road type (City, Road, Motorway & Rain modes). The Adaptive Front System (AFS) does all this automatically. They also adjust according to load automatically.

Yes, they should have specific tools to calibrate them - I know that with the radar for the active cruise control, these can be a nightmare for the dealers to calibrate and I know it took a few days of driving and calibration for the technicians to get this right on the latest C4 Spacetourer. It turned out the front grille was a dew mm out and that mucked up the sensor!

I think this is a sign of how things are going - not looking rosy at all.
