no luck and another MOT cancelled..

my spare working ECU didn't make a difference.. interestingly, one of the 5 pins on the MAF is missing! pin 2, looking at above diagram, assuming the MAF is 1310, this cables wonders about but seems to start from the fuse box BF01 - from pin 7..

goodness, electrics..

have some spare MAFs , will get this sorted just pleased the ECU doesn't seem to be the issue..

also have to suspect wiring generally

All fixed :)

whole dash out, repairs to two wires (one throttle wire and another unknown wire) , just below nearside windscreen where most of the looms enters van.

also changed the MAF (at Idle a working MAF appears to show about 225g/m, plugging in any non-working, or not having a MAF seems to default to about 500g/m)
