Wow, someone's just sold a gorgeous looking blue 206 GTi 180 for £200 in Livingston
Did say it had some issues & it's in Bonny Scotland but wow at the price! Just sick that it's probably gone to a breaker rather than being saved!
Sick as a dog!

Re: Not quite so sick now!!!
And wow again, spotted an equally lovely looking 180 in the same colour for sale less than half the distance away. This one is even MoT'd till May and under 90k miles at £350.... And we've only put a deposit on it! Should be collecting Sunday...

Re: Sick as a dog!
And the same for you also, hope it works out considerably better than expected for you.
The Sunday collection date went out the window when we managed to scrape up the balance of the £350, so went last night and got back about 1:30am! Yes, we are certified 206 lovers... Certifiable in more ways than one, I'm sure, but very happy with it so far even if it does struggle to return 30 miles to a gallon of Super Unleaded (well, we put standard in for the trip home lol).
If we could only keep one 206 in future I think this would be the one, shocked to see how rare they're becoming now, only 712 left on the road out of 2651 total. Considering they were sold until 2006 (with a couple registered in '07) that's pretty damn scarce when you think about the fact that there are still 650+ 205 1.9 GTi's on the road now.
Speaking of how many left, Black (the Xantia) now constitutes 50% of the total UK population of Diesel auto Xantiae... Both are 1995 models, the other one is on the road apparently, wonder if it's anyone on here? I do feel privileged to be the custodian of such a unique piece of PSA history, even if it isn't really an exceptional one (all the more reason for keeping her alive in my book!)
