Hi all,
can someone advice where the security code is stored on a Lucas EPIC diesel injection system.
i have just installed a XUD11BTE (P8C) engine from a citroen xantia onto a 406 body and it wont run.
Technician says i need a code for pump but i cant see a memory chip on Injector pump diagrams i have come across.
Im not that good with electrics but i just 'felt' the code must be stored in the ECU or keypad as these have memory chips , at least according to the schamatics i have haha.
Thanks much.

Re: Anti-start code
The code is stored on the injection ECU.
The keypad needs to send the correct code to the ECU, where it is compared to the stored one.
You will need to know the ECU's current code to be able to start the car, or to change it to another code.
