Help with Lexia 3 software

Post by Kamal »

Hi there,
I have bought Lexia3 PP2000 Car Diagnostic Scanner with Diagbox V7.83 Software for Citroen / Peugeot, PP2000 / Lexia-3 Interface from Amazon.fr and I have problem with installing Lexia3 v45 as there is missing file or something like that. I spent my last few days looking for link to download Lexia 3 software with no luck. I contacted the seller and no response. My car is Citroen c5 mk1 2004, could anyone help me with sharing complete software that works with my car.
Thanks in advance.
Kamal.

You don't need Lexia 3 software separately - it is built into Diagbox..... When you connect to your C5 and launch Diagbox, it will detect the vehicle and give you a choice of SCANTOOL or LEXIA. Choose Lexia and you are good to go. You do not download and install Lexia separately or it will interfere with the other installation.

Hello Marc,
Installation was fine, but diagbox update 7.82-7.83 cannot be installed because of corrupted files, I downloaded another file online but the same issue. Any suggestion?

Basically you didn't need to update it as all for your C5. You should of stuck at V7.58, which is a good stable version and was released in 2013 - so nearly 10 years later than your C5. There is no sense in updating it further as you will get no benefit except a loss of functionality as PSA moved over to online telecoding via their servers that you won't be able to access.

Stick to 7.58.

You have now got some conflict with the files between the standalone Lexia install and Diagbox it seems.

The only way to resolve this now is to uninstall all the software from both versions, then physically remove the folders it created on your C: drive, then use the diagbox uninstaller to remove the entries from the registry. If you don't you'll never get it to install or work properly.

Then when the system is completely cleaned up, just mount the diagbox ISO file as a virtual CD ROM drive and run as administrator when installing and follow your set of installation instructions. Do not install any Lexia software separately.
