Can someone identify this for me please? 2009 1.6 HDI C4
Hi
This plastic pipe keeps popping off at the back, possibly the pipe it joins onto is damaged, can anyone tell me what it's called? There was a rubber band which I've slide up to photo, I assume this isn't normal / standard?
Thanks
Louis

Post your Vin number up (the system automatically hides it from public view), forum staff can then assist you with the correct information.

It’s ok, I already have the VIN Alasdair.
It’s an air hose, item 9. Part 1434C1

The rubber band is not original.... It's supposed to be clipped into the air box, and there should be a rubber grommet that fits on a ball on the end of one of the vac pump bolts. It's easy to break the connection to the air box - ours was by the time we got it at 4 years old. I suspect new pipe and box required if you want to fix it, at no doubt £££££!
