Do my eyes deceive me?

Post by mickthemaverick »

As a result of today's posting on POTD I thought it might be fun to share some things we've found which do not turn out to be as they seemed!
To get the ball rolling here are a couple of photos:
own work
own work
own work
own work
which I sent to our council highways department on 1st April with a report that someone had stolen our lamp post. I had a reply asking if I'd seen it the night before, I explained that I hadn't because it was dark!! I heard no more :-D :-D
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Spot on =D>

Allegedly it's connected to this.... but I couldn't possibly comment :-D

That mountain is probably one of the most dangerous places I've ever been..... mainly because an electrical storm came up the valley below us and proceded to erupt on top of the mountain whilst we were there. The railings were buzzing / ringing and our hair was standing on end. Interesting. We were evacuated off ASAP, but that involved going down in the funicular railway - the electrics to which tripped out at least 20 times on the way down due to lightning strikes. We never doubted we'd get down to the bottom though - we had gravity on our side :rofl2: [-o< [-o< [-o<

Sounds like a truly hairy day on the mountain!! The secret gun installations point at somewhere in the former Yugoslavian area. Croatia or Bosnia maybe? Or is it old Russian front sites in East Germany? Where is it? :) :?

No, 'fraid not. They used to store them there, but ran out of room so had to put them somewhere else...... and I'm not allowed to tell you where :-D :rofl2:
