There are three cars in the hospital car park where my daughter is currently, registration plates read Zoe and one of them really is a Zoe.
Her daughter is called Zoe too.

Well numberplates arent that much good these days for finding out where a vehicle is from, the memory tag characters on your 70 reg would put it firmly in Forest and Fens, and the issuing office character would put in in Lincoln.

So I reckon that has a good chance of being Day 1 of the stroll, somewhere in Lincolnshire :-D

We actually came up behind him on the road from Filey to Thornton Le Dale about 10 minutes before we arrived at Mathewsons. I will be posting the trip in five installments on the Stroll thread when I have sorted all the pictures :-D

NewcastleFalcon wrote: 07 Sep 2020, 14:06 So when will there be the first spot of a 70 reg UK made Vehicle? I'm offering 100 points for that :-D
and 1000 points for any vehicle made in the UK by a UK owned automaker.
Two apparent contenders for the first UK Made Vehicle 70 reg spotted on the thread.

Without looking them up the most likely contender is the first...

A 70 Reg Nissan Juke, heading into the Golf Club. Interesting headlights,...should have got a picture appeared to have the tripod look....have to check that out. I suspect it was made at Sunderland.

The second was this, but is it made in the UK.....I dont know....
made in the UK?
made in the UK?
Anyone care to join in with a bit of independant verification of the award of 100 points for the first UK made 70 Reg Vehicle spotted on the thread.

Well I reckon one day to go to register your 70 Reg spots before the thread goes to sleep. A couple for me today reported over on the Electric Vehicles-Infrastructure thread.....both EV's an MG ZS EV and a BMW I3

...and on the last day of the new reg month.

But is it good news for Wolfsburg/Pamplona or Uitenhage?
and points to anyone who knows where Uitenhage is without looking it up

Possibly the latter https://www.just-auto.com/analysis/brit ... 80457.aspx

So there is another one to confuse us from tomorrow?

I wish they would pack it in and just issue sequential numbers.
