boot light wire number?

Post by benjamino48 »

Just bought a 2014 expert van, doesnt have any cargo area lighting. given how it knows the doors are open ( on screen) my thinking is bsi controls boot light in the cars? Can i find or enable this output for a small led strip? Wanting it to work just like normal boot light, door open light on unless time expires then it switches off automaticly. Does anybody know a boot light wire number to see if i can find it in the cargo area loom or any info would be great. thanks.

Hi, and :welc: to the forum. Your best first action would be to post up the VIN (which will be automatically obscured so only Moderators can read it) so that a Moderator can see what she had when she rolled out of the factory, and see if you can have a cargo area light.
