Spare wheel tight?

Post by The Sign Man »

Hi all. My daughter has had a Modus for 5 weeks now and after a puncture, putting the spare away today was difficult. Seems to have gone ok in the end but it still wobbles on its black plastic base. Think we did all steps correctly but there is still some play, it isn't tight to the underfloor. Is this normal please? Thx in advance. Will try to add video .

That's a bit rude, I'd guess no one replied because they didn't have an answer to your question.

Indeed, some people presume we're all on their private payroll and demand instant answers, when in fact we're all volunteers giving our time and knowledge freely.

It wasn't obvious from the original post whether the wheel being put back in was the punctured item or the spare. Not that I could have offered any advice though.

I wonder what the great job was?

I shouldn't worry in any case, as he won't be back - he's asked for his account to be deleted, so we have deactivated it. So on that basis I've locked the thread.
