Welcome to the FCF!
Have them check the height corrector and linkages on the anti roll bar.
I imagine they have disturbed something there, either disconnected the 'dog bone' link, distorted or loosened the clamp on the anti roll bar or disconnected the plug on the height corrector itself.
Make sure they are very careful when working on it as the car can drop very rapidly when it is fiddled with.

Re: Front suspension won't go down
Sounds like they lifted it without setting the suspension height correctly......I hope they have not over pressurised the LDS tank or damaged the strut seals !

That was going to be my next thoughts as well!
@Ian46s: I suggest you get yourself some of these and have a read through this post:

If the garage is not familiar with these cars and the precautions they need to take, then they shouldn't be working on them. I would suggest that as a result of the height correction being out of kilter, that you take it to Citroen and get the other garage to pay for the height correction work to be undertaken. They will have to run a diagnostic on the height control sensors, then undertake the height measurement calculation and procedures and then adjust the sensor clamps and / or fine tune the reference heights with Diagbox.
