I"m trying to find out the difference between the following engines:
DW 10 FUD. and DW 10 FB.
I"ve tried emailing Citroen customer help but they tell me they don't deal with technical questions.
Can anyone suggest the best way to get an answer?

Re: Engine codes
They will generally be different power outputs, but all SCR engines.

Google (Wikipedia) 'PSA EW/DW engine' for lots of detail on the DW10 variants.

Re: Engine codes
Thank you for those answers.
I have studied the information on DW10 engines on the internet, but have not found any way to identify which engine I have.
The V5 lists the engine number as DYZZ.......
The 3rd to 8th digits of the VIN are YD2MFC.
The engine is a 2.0 blue Hdi, first registered in 2016.
Can anyone please suggest where I can find the answer?

Re: Engine codes
That won't help - I simply need the VIN if you want to know which one you have.

Re: Engine codes
Ok, so confirmed, you have the DW10FUD engine. So your performance curve data will be in the second image with the large marching ants.

Re: Engine codes
Some basic information on the DW10F engine for you...
Main structure of the DW10F engine
Special features:
Special features of the injection system:
Objectives of emission standard Euro 6:
Main structure of the DW10F engine
Special features:
- 4 cylinders, 16 valves with twin overhead camshaft, driven by toothed belt
- An inlet manifold incorporated into the cylinder head cover
- A vacuum reserve fixed on the exhaust gas heat recovery module
- An exhaust manifold located on the rear of the engine
- An oxidising catalytic converter mounted directly on the turbocharger outlet
- Reduction of the "NOx" by introducing a reducing agent into the exhaust line on entering the deNOx catalytic converter
- One-piece deNOx catalytic converter/particle emission filter assembly (Inseparable assembly)
- Variable geometry turbocharger, with position repeat sensor (Without water cooling)
- Air/air heat exchanger (cooling of the turbocharged air)
- A coolant pump driven by the timing belt
- Variable-flow oil pump (Engine lubrication system controlled by an electrovalve controlled by the engine management ECU)
- A motorised coolant outlet housing controlled by the engine management ECU
- HDI direct injection system
- An exhaust gas recirculation system
- An exhaust gas recirculation electric electrovalve
- A turbo pressure regulation electrovalve
- A "pressurised" low pressure circuit (4,1 bars relative and regulated)
Special features of the injection system:
- Fuel injection managed as a function of engine torque
- Fuel pressure in the high pressure common rail can reach 2000 bars
- Fuel pump (electric scavenging) integrated in the fuel gauge-pump module
- DFP6.1E type high pressure fuel pump
- Complies with emission standard Euro 6
Objectives of emission standard Euro 6:
- Emissions of carbon monoxide (CO) limited to 500 mg/km (Identical to Euro 5)
- Reduction of the quantity of particles to 4,5 mg/km (10 % lower than the Euro 5 emission control standard)
- Reduction of emissions of nitrous oxides (NOx) to 80 mg/km (55,5 % lower than the Euro 5 emission control standard)
- Reduction of combined emissions of hydrocarbons (HC) and nitrous oxides (NOx) to 170 mg/km (26 % lower than the Euro 5 emission control standard)
- Extension of life of pollution checking devices to 160000 km (It must be possible to check the conformity in service for 5 years or 100000 km)
