I've just bought an early 2013 Pug Partner and want to activate the Cruise Control. I have an older version of Lexia that works fine on my M59 Berlingo, but am guessing that PP2000 will not work so I'll have to use Diagbox.
I've tried Diagbox 5.29 but get a lot of 'ECU Not Recognised' messages when doing an error scan so am guessing that 5.29 is too old. As it's an older version of Lexia, I'm also guessing that latest versions of Diagbox (7.x ?) will not work with my interface hardware.
Any ideas what the lowest version of Diagbox will work on my B9 is?
Thanks

Re: 2013 Partner B9 - What Version of Diagbox Do I Need?
Your VCI is probably too old for a 2013, the latest you'll likely get it the older hardware to work with is version 5 and maybe a few early updates. But some, some, have managed to get the basic 7.02 to work - it really depends on your VCI hardware as no two are the same. However be aware that applying a later update to version 7 will update the VCI firmware - which may impact on your other vehicle unless you manually downgrade the firmware using the checker tool.
Lack of ECU communication is the giveaway.

I looked through the Wiki that you created on Diagbox, but the earlier versions don't have release dates? I was wondering what the current version was at the time (2012/13) ? Also, please can you link, or point me to the post on the interface checker?
Thanks again.
Thanks again.

Re: 2013 Partner B9 - What Version of Diagbox Do I Need?
The most current version of DiagBox that WE can use is V7.58. Anything later that that needs to 'converse' with the PSA servers, and (if they are not authorised) systems running DiagBox may find it has been disabled.

Re: 2013 Partner B9 - What Version of Diagbox Do I Need?
That’s completely wrong James.
7,58 is a known stable version. People can use any version they want. It is just that later versions from 7.65 have reduced manual coding features.
What version you can use will depend on VCI revision of course.

Re: 2013 Partner B9 - What Version of Diagbox Do I Need?
The quick answer to my question is Ver 7.11 as that seems to be the earliest version to properly support the Engine ECU on the B9 (EDC17C10_BR2) and will still work with the Ver B VCI.

Yes, it worked fine in the end.
Re: 2013 Partner B9 - What Version of Diagbox Do I Need?
You need ver 7.11 Diagbox or higher.
