Kate bush for me!

No idea of distance travelled, probably about 40 miles on foot (ouch) and the same in the car, which has buggered off to Scotland again and taken son with it. He uses it more than me now.
Almost dumped it for a SAAB 95 estate. Came to my senses when I realised it was mostly Vauxhall under the skin, bit of Lancia to make it even more 'interesting' :(

approximately 600 in the car, an eventful month it was too, with:-

The Annual 'Ouch', unusually this year I handed over £265 in Folding at the PO for Tax and was given just a Receipt (last time I paid Cash you got a Disc).

Fitting of a replacement Indicator Stalk
FCF Stalk.jpg
Similarly a Window Winder Mech, which I'd remembered as being difficult but wasn't
FCF Winder.jpg
A New Set of Wheeltrims, you know who you are; thankyou!!
FCF Wheeltrims2.jpg
and
Bleeding the Cooling System, which I feared was over-pressurising (ie HG issues)

...thankfully, seems the HG's OK, but less than a week later its bust a Coolant Hose and I'm gonna be bleeding it again, dammit. Thank You to Mick for the advice on Hoses.

Re: How many miles in September

Post by NewcastleFalcon »

Decided to put the Micra in for its MOT early to change it from a November renewal to a September renewal, had to fettle a couple of brake hoses and discs and pads at the front, and refreshed myself with the demolition method of removing one of the discs as told in toolbag tales-disc removal for the desperate and elsewhere. Changed the oil as a reward for getting through the MOT!

Currently waiting for an ignition switch from Nissan, battery is off, ignition barrel dismantled, so milage report will have to wait. The bike has remained redundant. Miss CitroJim's encouragement and example.

A tedious pic I'm afraid, which you will have to zoom in on, but what do you expect with a number like that? :-D

Well the Micra is back in action with a new ignition switch, (unnecessary as it turned out) and a new starter motor.

So this month probably about 150 miles in the Corsa
and the month end cumulative total on the Micra was 63,287 minus 62,487
800 for the month

So to keep up with tradition I need a suitable picture to commemorate the random number at which the mileometer stopped at at the end of the month. That number is 63,287 or the literal display 063287.

So whats the best a simple google turns up? A li-ion battery

Did about 1200 in six days when we went to Yorkshire a couple of weeks ago. We took a friend who didn't know anything about Yorkshire - he does now. Went to Beamish twice.

Only used about two egg cups full of power steering fluid. :-D (C5)
