Re: Replacement C5
You've come to the right place - there's plenty of info here for the X7.
Have a search first for info - put any telematics queries in the telematics forums (I've moved your MyWay thread there) and the technical queries in the Citroen Forum.

Re: Replacement C5
Well nearly 12 months on and it appears that once again i will be owning a C5 X7 at the start of November
Bit of a bargain to be honest, 12 months MOT, full cambelt/water pump rollers/tensioners/aux belt new discs and pads all round, new boots done 10 months ago, recent full service 59k on the clock
Yep you guessed it, it is sat on the drive now just belongs to my lad for a few more days
Not that he does not like it, just he wants something smaller so how could i let it go to some else

Re: Replacement C5
There are plenty of relatively cheap X7's about at the moment, now seems to be a good time to buy. Look on 'Facebook' market place, there are about 50 on there.

Re: Replacement C5
Peter it seems like you have been bitten by the X7 bug also, and if Mrs Peter likes them then you are well and truly snookered
Yes there are quite a few about, but this one i could not refuse, read into that whatever you like lol
But the biggest bonus for me is i get to have the Xantia as my daily driver, bad news i need to sell the C4, been reliable and probably worth next to nothing so a bit of a headache to find a buyer.

Re: Replacement C5
I haven't driven anything like it since the XM, its way ahead of the Mk 1 C5's even with steel springs, or the one I had anyway. Does just I want it to do and with style.

Re: Replacement C5
Does it ride as well as the C5? I notice that 1.6 Hdi C5s are fairly consistently cheaper than the 2.0., I wonder if its the lack of power or the terrible reputation the early ones had?
