I've recently bought a 207 1.4 hdi and the 'anti-polution' error has just come up.

I can't find the DPF bag/tank on my car, it's certainly not where it's pictured above. There's nothing running alongside the exhaust heat shield.

Any idea where I can find it?

Hi Jon, there's a very good reason why you can't find the DPF - it doesn't have one on this engine :-D So obviously no additive tank.

The anti pollution error can be down to several reasons in this case - an EGR blockage or even a lambda sensor or air problem. Your best bet though is to get a diagnostic done with Diagbox as this is a 2010 model. That should provide one or more codes and that may point you in the right direction. Absolutely no point in randomly replacing parts in the hope it will cure it. Any imbalance in the air or fuel system can possibly trigger a fault, so best to get a diagnostic first.

You need 'Powerflex' Additive for your additive tank.

There are generally next to the fuel tank, on the rear left hand side, under the heat shield / protection covers.

Hi
I joined a few months ago, having got a 208, I have not been too active on the site as I have mostly used when I have issues- which seem to be common.
Anyway today I got this DPD fluid issue, and am going to need to sort some diagnostic kit out for the reset- after a bit of under vehicle crawling...
Unfortunatly when I tried to pm, my inactivity is blocking me. I was thinking of utilising givemeabreak’s recommendation get the discount and go to his recommended site.
So if he reads this can he tell me if I am eligible for the discount?
Incidentally if anyone foes have a list of devices that can reset this issue I would love to here/see it.

You can't PM anyone until your first post - which is what you have now done. So the PM system will work for you from now on.

The additive counter will need resetting using a suitable and capable diagnostic tool. You'll also need a laptop. If you are intending to diagnose PSA vehicles earlier that 2017 ish, then the kit with DB7 may be for you. If it's a one-off operation, then it won't be very cost effective and you may be able to contact a member here with a kit to help. Failing that a dealer will charge you diagnostic time - anything from half an hour to an hour, so about £90 for a diagnostic.

@ ElioFernandes: You would need Powerflex for your later 308 (T9) vehicle with build date 13969

Powerflex is Powerflex! Are you sure you are not mistaking the other numbers for the container sizes?
