Hi everyone, hope your weather is as good as mine. I recently bought the C5 and think I will be needing advice soon. 8-)

Not many C5s on Gozo I think (nor in Malta overall).

Welcome Ray!
Did several visits to Malta and Gozo, in the 80s and very early 90s. Fascinating.
Made one ferry crossing to the tiny island of Gozo, and was amazed to find, amid the fields...

the Ta' Pinu basilica !

Malta was certainly the place, back then, to keep old cars on the road; anything, of any age, used to be hammered back into shape. I expect things have changed.

The last time I was on Gozo I spent ages watching while they tried to extricate a Leyland Hippo tipper towing a similarly sized, loaded, boat trailer from its predicament in Victoria/Rabat town centre - yet, I understand, that's where London's spontaneously combusting bendibuses ended up.

Last time a meant to go to Gozo (Millenium Eve) my car was impounded by Maltese customs because I didn't have a Green Card.

We have bendy-buses aplenty in Malaga. Strangely, they don't seem to catch fire. #-o

No surprises there, it did seem to be a peculiarly London phenomenon.
