the Metropolitan is spot on - mine's was DHC too. The only white available was Frost White. The Saluki Bronze photo doesn't do the colour justice. It is so much better in the flesh. I even painted my Hillman Imp in Saluki Bronze with a black fabric roof.

I would name Gris Temps Perdu as Dream Grey. Not literal, I know, but fitting I think and probably with Cirrus White. Gris Etna is just Ash Grey.

A better picture to give the proper feel for a Metropolitan is this shot. It could seat 4 - 3 in the front, 1 in the back folded up (or 2 very small children). Look closely. what can't you see?

No takers? There is no bootlid. The rear bench seat backrest folds down and you get into the boot that way. It is quite large and completely useless!

Sorry Dormouse been on another jaunt or I would have chipped in, I was going to say no seat belts but that would be pretty much a given :-D A red and white Metropolitan made it to Morris Leslies Auction at Errol Air Field in 2017 and 2018 (same one).

I think there was a Harvest Gold for the original Twingo as well - a curious greenish gold colour.
Actually, most of the Twingo colours were decidely odd, likely mixed from the leftovers tub.

Another "Gold" but the name not the colour although yellow and black always look good to me . :)
From Bonhams Sales Particulars https://www.bonhams.com//auctions/21916 ... 000&page=1
Few cars from the 1920s are more memorable and enduring than the Kissel "Gold Bug". They embodied the spirit of the carefree "Roaring Twenties" better than just about any car. Their dynamic sporty looks and novel features, such as their dual golf bag mounts, made them an icon of the day. They were the favored transport of many celebrities of the era, including Amelia Earhart, Indy 500 winner Ralph DePalma and Roscoe "Fatty" Arbuckle.
For those of us who appreciate Joni Mitchells poetic Lyrics, her song "Amelia" from her masterpiece album "Hejira" is one of her best.

Todays spot so far, a J-reg Jaguar e-type in dark blue verging towards black, gorgeous in the morning sun
So there is a very nice gallery of e-types and colours here
