You got away with the twitching curtains and a quick shutter press Steve, I got caught red-faced with my shutter clicking the other day.

Photographing interesting cars in a car park, has to be quite an art. Lets face it you cant appear anything other than suspicious. Not too bad if the cars in question are unoccupied, and there's not may people to-ing and fro-ng.

Well I got caught red handed photographing the Kia Soul EV. Just at that moment ,dad and daughter arrived back at the car. Me I tend to blurt out something and engage in probably an unnecessary conversation, but explaining can make it worse.

Still I got away with a sorry, a brief explanation and it turned into a pleasant conversation. Phew!

Perfectly legal to photograph and video anything in public with very few restrictions.

I don't like to be blatant about it of course but as you have probably noted, most of my photo's are through the window. Sheer laziness.

A Nissan 'white van' and a Leaf.
Probably missed loads as it is very busy and chucking it down.

If you ever spot a black polestar on the road it may appear as if its an unmarked car, you have to get pretty close to see the polestar logo on the rear.

So passed it up the inside at traffic lights, green flash and 22 reg, but couldn't work out what it was until alongside.

Four Teslas, Three Leafs, a VW ID3, BMW i3, an Hyundai somethingorother and numerous others that passed too rapidly for identification. Only the green flash gave the game away.

Tons of Dacia Spring around here. It's so common now that I don't even take photos. It used to be very cheap to order one with the incentives so now the orders have arrived. The cheapest price was about 8500euro VAT included, all extras included, I think I was the least expensive car you could get in Romania at that time. Now (2022) the price is around 10 000 euro and you have to scrap an old car.

Why invest in making a RH drive one if you can't make enough cars for LH drive markets? And let's not forget that the refresh is right arround the corner.

Didn't have my camera but this morning's trip to Tesco showed there's more stuff using the chargers, a very nice green 22 reg. MG a tiny Smart two seater and an Audi of some sort alongside my Zoe, there was another opposite but I didn't look too hard, nearly got run over by a lady (cough) reversing blindly through the spaces in a Fiat 600.

Careful Gibbo, probably only a matter of time before you will be liable to 10 years hard labour in Siberia for such a comment!! :-D

A few random shutter clicks. Noticeably more frequent EV spots, and commonest around TESLA's, Mercs, Audis.

Just a lonely Model 3.
Just as I clocked it, in a disabled bay, a woman in a black Civic reversed out into a Mondeo*. Huge crash, Tesla immediately forgotten.

* Spellchecker thinks that should be Desdemona

Said spellchecker is crap recently. Although set to UK English it is always trying to force US spelling.
