Much the same here although the wind is blowing it away.
Washed my car there on Sunday and there were petals stuck all over it.

Just been out there to rescue a load of seed tray covers that had blown over the wall.

Oh Dear, Oh Dear, Oh Dear, Oh Dear, Oh Dear, ...

5 missing days on POTD...plate stepper uppers conspicuous by their absence.

Anyone know the difference between a Newt and a Lizard. Looks more Lizardy than a Newt to me, and it was out of water of course. Its underside is a bright orange stripe.

Identification please.

Looks more newty than lizardy although I can't pinpoint exactly why.

Haven't seen a newt in donkeys but we did have a few lizards when the kids were younger.

Newts seem softer and flabbier somehow.

A newt is an amphibian, a lizard is a reptile, the difference being amphibians have no scales and can breed in water, reptiles have scales and breed on dry land.!! :-D

Is that a Mexico with the split front bumper.
I had a neighbour with one, company car and he thought it was the best thing on earth until they gave him a Thingumybob Crusader.

Mr. Beer, worked for Vaux brewery.

I have not checked this so my memory may be a little askew but basically the Escort Mexico was a sporty version launched as a marketing gimmick after the successful 1970 World Cup London - Mexico Rally which Hannu Mikkola won and Jimmy Greaves with Tony Fall finished 5th or 6th. They had 5 Escorts in the top 8 so launched the Escort Mexico to celebrate. It was a bit of a cheat as the competition cars were 1850 GTs and the Mexico was launched with a 1600cc engine. That car evolved into the RS1600 which is what the pictured one is with a Cosworth BDA engine. Later that evolved into the RS1800 BDA which was the out and out competition car alongside the RS2000 road car. As I say that is all from memory so forgive the odd error if there are any!! :-D
