you seriously need to seek professional help if you are relying on your mirror! Although, the Leyland does look particularly well presented, mind you.

I do, but I don't have any of my own photos for the grey Fergie I fell in love with at a Glamis Extravaganza.

my Major was mostly mud and rust but absolutely bulletproof. I have seen lots of Fergie's over the years but the one at Glamis was way above average. The wheel nuts were individually hand burnished! That was the over the top level the owner went to on his labour of love. He hand painted the tin work in enamel and I have honestly seen worse paint jobs from top notch spray shops. It was immaculate. The tyres had matching production codes on them! He was OTT in his search for concourse perfection but he still entered it in ploughing competitions.

This is the nearest picture on the net of the rear forklift we had. We had a basket on the front and we just kept throwing more concrete blocks in/on it if you could not steer.

There was a tractor week on at Beamish a couple of years ago, mostly Fergies but a few other interesting models as well. There are lots of old tractors squirreled away down here, a neighbour has a Field Marshal, single cylinder piston the size of a bucket, we can hear it when he has it running. A friend of mine has a couple of BMC mini tractors, one with a mini sized A series diesel and another with the 1500 B series diesel.

My effort for pic of the day - the Peugeot Boxer based Autosleeper motorhome we’ve been trundling around Scotland in over the last week. Parked up somewhere in the Cairngorms on Wednesday.

Your welcome Peter, late on I discovered this on the other tractor you mentioned...gives you a decent look at the BMC tractor with the "mini" engine, as the mechanic takes up 9 minutes or so of youtube time changing the oil and filter :-D

Thanks again Neil, I think I could just about manage that  Big filter for a little engine but a 'green' one, they seem to have gone back to those now - every little helps I suppose.

This is the nearest I can find to the mini digger I bought new. It wasn't called a Tow Hoe in the UK but I can't remember it's name
