A very badly focused shot of my lunchtime companion. It sat motionless for a couple of minutes so I got the phone camera turned on and of course he took off as I was taking the picture!! :(

A long time since I have seen one of those. There were thousands around the stream in Jesmond Dene but a long time since I was there.

Also Derwent reservoir, probably twenty years since we were there too.

Well I had an unexpected chance to test my recommissioned Canon Pro90 IS. I found myself in Watford with an hour to waste so I popped down to Cassiobury Park where I havn't been for 20+ years. Things have changed but the attractiveness is still there:

Watford cannot match High Force, or even Low Force but it can offer exceedingly minute force:

And finally, just to prove they are there a dragonfly at long range!!

Well worth a stroll round, or even a cycle with one of the bikes if you are in the area!!

Bearing in mind Bob's piloting connections I routed us via Coningsby, Scampton and quite a few other ex RAF fields to see what we might find and the best find was the clock!! :-D

Indeed we did Neil, thanks for the guidance. We stopped at Steel Rigg and had a walk along the wall, fantastically fresh and awesome thoughts about the history. Had an issue finding our hotel but all will be revealed when I do the write up on the Stroll thread!! :-D

Another fantastic day on the Stroll, full details will be on the Stroll thread when I get home with decent Wifi, but as a taster of today's brilliant guided tour of Liverpool's sights, thanks to Paul_R, here is one of the places I felt privileged to see: :-D
