A bit more and she could go shopping in it. No need for a trolley.

Yes, but she is currently in Newbury, the RED boards are out, and several of the lock gates have been chained shut (as it is deemed dangerous to life and vessel to move around on the water).

Just found this pic from many years ago, My old 406 2.0HDI, Reaching a milestone. I think I added about another hundred thou before I sold it.
It had 115000 on when I bought it, 1 of the best cars I ever owned
Thanx to Marc and all the admins & knowledgeable people that make this the best forum on the interweb. =D> =D> =D>

..and in a seamless link. It is so refreshing to see how precise milages were described in old signs.

At least the Milestone didnt say Belsay was "about 6 Miles" , no precisely five and three-quarters Miles.

Funny sort of weather in the Scottish Borders today. One minute full on snow, most minutes windy and cold, but occasionally the sun and a bit of blue sky poked out.

I routed from Bilbao down the AP68 to Zaragoza and then, as you suggested Neil, down the A23 to Valencia. I honestly can't remember which road it was on but I believe it was the A23 about 2/3 of the way from Z to V, My run down the AP68 from Lograno onwards was continuously surrounded by wind farms. Spain are certainly going for green energy in a big way!! Today saw me arrive in Palma before dawn and the pics are not worth posting. Hopefully something interesting later on!! :-D

It is indeed a map of Aragon where the A23 crosses the boundary between Aragon and Valencian Community

The A23 Southbound seems completely devoid of traffic when the google street-view cameras came calling :-D

Hope you're enjoying our gloriously empty motorways (except the big cities), Mick, and the 120km/h*.
Makes long distance driving a real pleasure.
The investment in wind power is impressive.
* Expect to get a ticket if you overdo it though. These are now sent internationally.
