Welcome back Dormouse, I'm afraid you missed Fife's day in the spotlight and we have moved on now :-D
Have a read through if you like but as far as that thread goes, entries are closed. Each of the 92 Historic Counties of the UK gets a day-ish in the spotlight and its moved onto Montgomeryshire in Wales with just under 30 of the original 92 left to do.

Fife's day started here

I was born and brought up in Prestonpans - and have relatives in Port Seton. None of them stay where you took the photo though. My cousin stays about 400 yards away and a friend I went to University with stayed about 100 yards away! 50 years ago though! He had a very distinctive Hammerite painted Riley Elf that I flared the steel arches on to clear the reverse rim Cooper wheels and 165 tyres!

There is an EV Charging point at the Community Centre at Port Seton which we made use of just round the corner from the photo.

Went to the Mercat Gait Swimming Pool at Prestonpans, because you had to pay a ridiculous price to get a pass to use the one at the Seton Sands Caravan park where we were staying for the weekend.

the Mercat Gait is on the site of the changing rooms and rugby/athletics grounds for my old school - Preston Lodge Senior Secondary, not the new High school further along

Same as my daughter's first SAAB. Excellent car, very comfortable and quick. Very thirsty though, especially when combined with the 'quick'.

This was outside Lidl this morning.

In the family parking, well it was the family car of the day :-D

Interesting (to me) that it is on an EO reg - this is Barrow in Furness which regulars may remember is where my Grandad lived with the Velocette for most of his life. DVLA says 1936, which I thought was after that reg format was superseded, but turns out the new (3 letters / 3 numbers format) wasn't compulsory at first, and local offices could continue to issue the old format till it ran out. Similarly, suffix regs came in in 62 but we're not compulsory until 65 or so.

Not really for this thread but way outside the Classics under 10k!! Calling all lottery winners, here's your chance to win one of the rarest and most desirable Citroens of all, however the current bid is £125,000 and there are only 7 hours ish left!! :-D

I've only seen the 'in progress' photos so far but my paint man is restoring a 1950s Dyna-Panhard for a customer. from a pile of junk.
Man is, by nature, a lazy beast, he does not need twice encouraging to do nothing.
