That's an idea Mike but in my experience the auctions lump lots of mixed stuff in boxes and sell as job lots often for pennies and regardless of the actual value.

I have sold now a few times at auctions and I've found them to be very flexible on lotting. If you want to sort through stuff and itemise the cream they will happily lot it accordingly, but if you can't really be bothered because its the getting some space that is more important, you can leave it to them to lot it. Our only stipulation would be that they could not mix different colour coded items in the same lot to ensure the right owner gets the proceeds from each lot. Bear in mind that my proposal to them would be the same as I have sold in the past, ie they take, say, 30% of the profits and no entry fees at all. That way our only costs would be getting the stuff to site, which may not even be necessary if we opt for remote collection which some auctioneers offer, and it is in the auction house's interest to maximise the returns and thus lot accordingly! :)

Here's a very 'under the radar' car which I was very tempted with a few years ago. If it weren't for the scarcity of spares I might have considered replacing my Subaru with it but the mileage has deterred those thoughts!! :-D

I love these...like the BX GTi above, it's a shame the only good examples left are LHD.

I had a 205 1.9 GTi in my younger days, and the dealer lent me one of these for a week while the 205 was having some work done. I didn't want to give it back :-D

I had one of the Peugeots and used it for a while, a bit like driving a truck. :)
