Re: Pickled Egg Jukebox-Your Selections
Following up on my musical journey this was the piece that enticed me into guitar. I first came across it as the theme to the TV series Tales of the Riverbank and I just had to learn to play it. I did succeed in that and can still play the first few bars until my fingers tie themselves up in knots!!

I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

This is a bit different.
Alma asks audience members to randomly pick a few notes out of a hat then takes a minute to think about it and produces a complete piano piece.
She is well recognised as an extraordinary talent and has compose symphonies and an opera previously but this is an eye opener.
Only 19 still.

Re: Pickled Egg Jukebox-Your Selections
Youtube suggested this to me when I was looking through musicals and, following his previous track I posted a couple of months ago, I thought this was a varied follow up worthy of an outing. The video quality is not good but it's here for the sounds!!

RIP Steve Harley
Saw him at the Empire theatre in Liverpool in the 70s. A great gig. And then a long gap until about ten years ago when I caught up with his tour in Runcorn. A great shame.

As I get older I think a lot about the hereafter - I go into a room and then wonder what I'm here after.

Not a fan of musicals but like "Bring Him Home" from Les Mis.
This is not so much interesting for the song but the singers. All Swedish medics and calling themselves A Scalpella. Amused me anyway.

Re: Pickled Egg Jukebox-Your Selections
Have just introduced my 19 year old grandson to this album, that I bought when I was 19.
He and my daughter like Jeff Wayne's "War Of The Worlds" that of course includes "Forever Autumn" (Jim) sung by Moody Blues singer Justin Hayward.
