Everyone has their own likes and dislikes, more a vocal performance than singing in the melodic sense I agree :-D
I was looking to see if I had posted up Blur's song 2, and one of the references in the thread came up with a little themed session from 2017 where tracks relating to names of cars came up hence Triumph in the Neal Schon Song.
"Triumph of Love"

I had a bit of replay through that section of the thread, which also included this Leon Russell composition sung by Karen Carpenter (Seat Leon). Had I have brought forward that one it would have been gentler on your ears. :-D

So here it is....too gentle :?:

I am pleased to say that I own no appliances that do this. Apparently some fridges do too.
My washing machine is ailing but will not be being replaced with anything that creates a racket. Silence is Golden.

Which reminds me of evenings in the 'coffee bar' in the sixties.

I have tried F&TM previously.
Did listen to that but not for long.
As Mick has noted, better with the sound off.

Some drums are OK, like the A Tergo Lupi one but most of it is just noise.

I have a CD of "Sacred Drums", American Indian stuff. May listen to it one day. Been here unopened for 16 years.

Has any happy Northern Soul been loaded up onto the PE Jukebox :?: If it hasn't so far, having mentioned Dobie Gray on another thread, it would be rude not to include this. Great performance. in colour too!

Some mainstream Classics in his back catalogue too. Not the original (that was first recorded by John Henry Kurtz in 1972), but certainly the first hit with it.

What I thought the Heardle might have been this morning but wasn't, but did lead me on to the right answer.

10 points for anyone who knows what a "Petite Tonkinoise" is... 50 for anyone who looks it up curiosity is more important than existing knowledge.

One of the recordings painstakingly restored here.

Bit more of a current "restoration" featuring Josephine Baker. She's almost in the room :-D

50 points claimed!!! :-D

Yes very good mick but only 49.99 points...I would still have to go to the immense effort of translating "la Petite Tonkinoise" to find out literally what the noun refers to. I am guessing a small tit!
