I change the oil and filter on mine every 6 month without fail. Been doing that since I got the C4 in 2010 and continued it with my C5. You can get the Total Quartz 9000 Future NFC 5W-30 Engine Oil for £22 on Amazon. https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B00 ... UTF8&psc=1 so don't try it on the cheap for the sake of a tenner.

I'll be doing mine this week for the winter.

Gary, yiou can get it for under £17 but that's not the recommended ol for these engines AFAIK. Total Ineo ECS is PSA certified and recommended for DPF engines (low saps).
