Re: Whatsthisthen?
I did mistakenly post up a Volkswagen but I corrected the guess to a Peugeot 504 Pick up after your post.

Re: Whatsthisthen?
That's the one Neil, I'm surprised, I thought you guys would be all over that in a second.
I sold a lot of them, I haven't got a full photo of that one but here's another one that passed through my hands. It should be in colour but I messed up.
Fine trucks but had a nasty habit of blowing head gaskets.............and heads.

Re: Whatsthisthen?
It was a good work out Gibbo thanks for posting it up. I wouldn't have got it without the clues. Thought is was just a van, and a small one at first sight.

I would say that is The Sails in Kelowna British Columbia!
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Who would have thought it, they went to British Columbia to film that "wonderful" advert.mickthemaverick wrote: ↑14 Jan 2021, 22:00 I would say that is The Sails in Kelowna British Columbia!
I've just been looking at it on google street view to try to get the same angle just to be sure, but yes the two of us have come to the same conclusion. Thought it would be europe for sure, but those pedestrian signs just arent European British Columbia certainly wouldn't have been my first guess top of the head, Italian lakes was where I first started looking
Well done!

Re: Whatsthisthen?
To be fair I did have a head start. On our Alaskan cruise in 2017 we called into White Rock and could have taken a chopper flight to see Kelowna but for some reason, to do with $650 each, we decided against!! However I did browse the brochure on boardNewcastleFalcon wrote: ↑14 Jan 2021, 22:46

Re: Whatsthisthen?
I came across this today, I only have my phone here, do can't completely obscure the badges, but it is a bit of a mongrel, certainly a rarity, and not what it first appears to be.

Re: Whatsthisthen?
The chap next door to us in the late 70's had a Toyota Crown, and your pic immediately reminded me of it. With your description I would guess there is a bit more to it and the pic I have just dug out quickly isnt exact but similar.
