I thought the very same thing. A shame Xant / Xm calipers look so naff really.

To be fair, I think the tyres are OK but the ride height at the front is too high.
Don't really like the fussy wheels personally.

The front is a little high, but with such big tyres designed to fill C5s arches, from the side that Xantia is going to look all 'wheel'. If you get my drift.

I voted for the 14'' steel wheel trim from the s1 xantia. I have these on my xantia and they do seem to suit the car.

I also like the s1 VSX alloys.

I prefer those to the 15" steel wheel trims.

Its odd that during Xm and Xantia production, Citroen didn't have logos on their wheels. I wonder what the thinking was behind that, simplicity?

Never thought about it before, but yes, weird!

Citroen have never bothered with logos on their wheels; alloys or trims.
In fact, I can't think of any Citroen pre ZX era that has, going way back
to the GS, Cx, D, and including Xm and Xant apart from Citroen accessorie
alloys. Generally, it's not as if their cars would ever needed branding to help
folk recognise it was a Citroen really. Unlike modern efforts that have badges
as big as older cars' grilles were is a desperate attempt to be different as
all other styling cues are safe, watered down me-too designs!!

Yes I agree, i'm not keen on the 15'' steel wheel trims, they are plain looking and don't do the Xantia justice.

Not directly Citroen on the wheels, but you can't beat the T-slot Turbo wheels:

Yep, lovely. I do like the flying ice scrapers. Shame the cruddy plastic trims
don't exactly finish refurbed/well maintained rims off so well.

For the ultimate in simplicity, nothing beats the 15" dinner plate stainless
wheel coverings on the GS Pallas.

Indeed, i thought that was brilliant the first time i saw those. They are nice wheels.

I also like the fact that some earlier Citroen wheels were a full disc, such as the S1 Xm wheel trims, they look great and dont let brake dust through.

Now those I do like!

I had the s/s dinner plates on my GS. Can't remember if they were on when I bought it or taken from a scrapyard.
I did think they were rather cool compared to the competition at the time.
