I totally agree and suspect the Granny was chosen specifically because the 2.0 has exceptionally soft suspension whereas the cosworth and 24Valvers have a firmer ride. It's a great big soft and comfortable car but loses big time on corners. In fact, I have to ease it around in the wet, so much that other drivers are tempted to (and often do ) overtake me on the outside. I wouldn't mind if they'd have the courtesy to get out of the way once I'm on the straight

Sounds like they should have released that model on the American market, or did they?

Certainly the fish eye one had American style rear lights, and a "distinct" set of headlamps.

Take a look at this Activa been checked by its owner although it might have been better to take the car outside so that.....

A) There is more clearance for the car to do its Citrobics "Activa " style.

B) So that the others in the house don't get gassed out!!

If you mean the frogeye scorpio, it does look odd enough to be considered a US design but no, I think they aimed more for the Australian market - I think the model was called Taunus and had huge 5litre engines in them but don't quote me.

That link isn't an Activa is it? Either way I agree it's not clever to show off the suspension in that environment - do I hear a small child in the background? Some people

Yes, I did mean the Frogeye Scorpio, yes it's thought by many to be an American design. As they certainly have chosen to do cars of that type of style in the past I.E. different.

I stand corrected on the car in that link, due to the fact that on closer inspection in does not rise, and fall like an Activa, and has an incorrect rear spoiler, obviously the aftermarket wheels hide what Citroen shod it with, also the clip does not give one a proper view of the door to I.D. it properly from the door badge.

So, I agree with you it's not an Activa, and in actual fact the title of the clip did not help, as one assumed it was correctly titled, and linked it accordingly.
