Hi there, some nice looking cars :D

A couple of pics of mine (well Dads but ive been driving it for 10 months) but not taken by me so excuse them, i will take some better ones

Image

Image

This one is my car, typically my clutch went whilst my dad was collecting the activa above, he gave my that one to take back to mine and took this one home, i have since been fostering it

Image

This is the xantia he bought cheap for the wheels as it had suspension problems but he gave it a new set of legs and saved it

Very nice Jennie although if I had that garage, it would be cleared out so at least one of those Activas could live inside!!! Or else, made into a workshop...

Do they both have the full Winter Pack?

I'm very pleased the green Activa lives; I like the colour and strangely
it's not as regular a sight even accepting for the ebay Dublin one!
A straight smart looking car there.

So what engine does the Activa clone/Exclusive have then? I must admit
I didn't understand what cars were which with those pictured at first!! :D

Congrats on the purchase, again. It's good to see that this Activa found a good home.

Thank You CitroJim! Finally I´m here (just been looking as a guest before).
f00lzz wrote:Are those 'standard' Activa wheels??
Absolutely not, those are tooo big wheels for my activa in finnish bumby roads.

I´m selling those 225/40/17 wheels as fast I can and will buy decent original sized wheels with summer tires. I wish I could find original Activa wheels, but I don´t think anybody in Finland would sell those if they have a set.

Congrats on the purchase, again. It's good to see that this Activa found a good home.
Thank You - Kiitos!
I´m glad I have the courage to buy that car against all wise words from friends and relatives. It´s so much more pleasant to drive than any V**vo or heaven´s sake T**ota. I´m coming to Tampere to visit at French Moteur at end of this month (fixing a tiny leak at back and something other small fixes). Hope to see you or at least your Activa there.

Yes welcome PettreiP.

Nice car!

As Citrojim says, we did not get the V6 Activa here which made no sense!

What's with Citroen making a decision like that, after all we do have bends here in the U.K!

Take note Citroen U.K.

If the Xantia, and the Xantia Activa had have been sold for example in America, then I could understand the deciding not to have a car that's excellent at handling, as they have many straight roads there, and have had many cars that went on sale in their market which did not handle too well.

Also many motorists in general over there wanted, and still do want a car with a smooth ride over anything else, even handling!

So, even the standard Xantia would have been a good car for that market with the smooth ride, and better handling!

Yes we should have had it, and therefore are jealous!

This is mine at Honister Slate Mine (in the Lake District) last November:

I was hoping for a better photo shoot, but it was bloody freezing!

Saw this a few times around Keswick too - I think it was a V-reg Athena:

I wonder if it belongs to anyone on here?

My Activa being given a thorough going over by the mechanics a few years ago.

Now done 118,000 (as of March 2010) and in daily use (and showing it).
But I need a new hydraulic regulator; it's seeping a little.

Right... this is the first time I've tried to upload photos so bear with me!

This is my S1 Activa, bought for £150 about 18 months ago now. Bargain of the century :D . I've added the leather interior and suede door cards. Its off the road now unfortunately and out of MOT as of last week. Currently on about 99k miles.

Funds are limited so 25 mpg was killing me! Its a brilliant car and will be back on the road soon I hope as funds get more liquid!
