Ds3 outer fan not working help

Hi guys front ds3 1.2 petrol outer fan not kicking in
Changed fan to a working one changed the resistor coil next to it with a working one still no luck switch the ac on still not kicking in checked all outer box fuses no luck checked connectors free from rust can anyone point me in the right direction i get these faults on diag box

Hi. What I would do just delete all codes - there is some of them, than scan it again to see what is back. Diagbox got an option to check the fan. It might tell you if he can@t perform the test. Did you check if you got ground and +12V on the plug going to the fan? Which year is your ds?

I checked the plug for voltage there is no 12v im only geting a small reading on the multimeter i did delete all the codes im not sure how i can check the fan in diagbox please help me on this thanks

Ok here we go. Please scan for a faults, then go to repair, choose your engine management ecu, then actuators test ( in my case next step is miscellaneous test) but you can have it this window my ds i 7 so might be bit different. All the best

Ok i did the test of the fan nothing can be heard or the fan isnt comming on when i did the test when i plug a direct 12v to the fan it works is there anything else i can check

Did you do a test of relay? If relay don't switch on (you should hear clicking sound) fan won't kick on. Relay should have one set of +12V and earth for powering a fan after some fuse (It might be F21 did you check it?). and another set +12v (constant after acc on) and earth for switching on the relay trigged by A/C or thermostat. Do you have one fan for A/C and cooling system? or 2 (separate 1 for cooling and 2nd for A/C)?

Ok found out 50amp maxi fuse was blown under main fuse under main fuse box under bonnet fan is now working but i switch the ac on i dont see the fan going on high speed can you suggest anything as i

Ok, good news then )) you have to go for a drive and wait to fan kick in. Then press A/C If you will hear higher rpms that's mean is working))) or check with diagbox. Simples)))
