Want to join our team of moderators?

This forum has a small team of moderators and administrators that have the job of making the forum run smoothly for all users. We would like to add another member to our team, no previous experience required.

The main roles of our moderators are:

• To approve first posts by new (and not trusted) users, and check new users against a database of known spammers.
• To provide assistance to users who have not mastered the user interface of the forum.
• To take corrective action when inappropriate content is posted, or when a user breaks one of our rules.
• To provide technical assistance to users, where appropriate.
• To participate in background chats regarding forum policies and technical matters.
• We aim to do almost no actual "moderation".

If you are already visiting the forum on a daily basis and reading most of the new posts, then the extra work would be about 10 minutes per day, and the is no compulsion to attend every day.
