You mean with my attendance the average age of the group plummets considerably

Yes I ask the stupid questions, because normally it is that simple.

Yes, but the enjoyment of the event rises to compensateRp0thejester wrote: ↑28 Nov 2024, 23:33 You mean with my attendance the average age of the group plummets considerably

I'm surprised no one went for the obvious 'mentally' drops

Re: Meeting arrangements
We wouldn't do that to you (well, OK, we might, but we are heading into the season of good cheer (when people are meant to be nice to each other!)).

Re: Meeting arrangements
Just bringing this to the forefront as I need to keep an eye on meaningful replys!!mickthemaverick wrote: ↑26 Nov 2024, 17:05 Just home from a very enjoyable lunch meet at The Crown and Sceptre. Before I left I had a word with the landlord regarding a Xmas lunch and the only date which he can offer was Wednesday 18th December. Unfortunately Wednesday's are generally out for Jim but he may get round it!! So I need to confirm numbers by the end of next week and then send in our menu choices by Wednesday 9th December from the following menu which is £30 a head. Please confirm attendance asap and then your menu choices in time for me to let Martin know our desires.
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!

Re: Meeting arrangements
Oh I see, I'm not meaningful enough. Well guess what, I'm still deciding over the Vegan Menu, a . will not fill me up, I'm very surprised they won't let me eat the beer gardens grass or the fields surrounding. I can confirm my attendance, I'll just eat the grass when they ain't looking.

I can brew you up a very good vegan curry Ryan and then sneak it in for you... Do feel free to garnish it with grass if you wish although it'll have plenty of coriander leaf in it, along with fenugreek leaf
I'm not a strict vegan, as you know, although some of my cooking does end up that way...
With a few slices of my home-baled bread, my curry, with a side dish of bulgar wheat, will fill you perfectly...
Mick, sorry for cluttering things up again I know exactly what I want off that menu and I'll be going vegetarian in this instance..
Mushrooms, followed by the Mediterranean tart and rounded off with the mincemeat crumble
Looking forward to this one
Jim

Re: Meeting arrangements
I will not be able to attend this time, as I will be in Ellesmere then (family over from Canada meeting up with Mum). Enjoy yourselves, everybody.

Just check you've got the right Ellesmere, being from Canada, they may mean Ellesmere Island Now that would be an awesome place to spend Christmas - guaranteed to be white
