Boxer 2015, main engine wiring

Unread post by bastama »

Hello,

due to bad manipulation i have a burnt main wiring. Unfortunately the label burnt too.
I find about 41types of ,,main wiring under bonnet" ( for example: 1611514880 ). I wrote to Peugeot and they wrote, that they couldn't help me, because they do not know which wiring i have, when i do not have the label from wiring. So i get only the factory build sheet from them and trying to compare it based on it.
I still have six option of main wiring based on factory build sheet. Compared on Catcar.info - main wiring. There is written some parameters of main wiring.
My option based on comparison: 1611515580,1611515680,1611516080,1609922080,1611514880,1611514980 - my guess is the last two.
VIN: VF3**************[VIN obfuscated, can be read by forum staff]
r.v.2015

Can anyone help with it?
Thank you and sorry for bad english

We can help if you need an original genuine part number, part diagram or vehicle factory build sheet and can't already find the info you need on the Forum. For this service, we do ask for a membership upgrade for official parts data as we are in turn charged for this. It will cover you for future part number requests for up to 3 years, so excellent value.

If interested, links are below, then provide your vehicle's VIN in full, which will be masked automatically when you submit your post.
A response to your question by a Forum Admin requiring parts or specific vehicle information requires you

Yes, that's the only way to ensure you get the correct harness, because as you have said there are multiple harnesses, each fitted to different engines and equipment. We provide this as a service to our donating members. The info on CATcar.info is well out of date - they are using an old version that is 15 years old!

We only use official live data from Citroen / Peugeot.

Unfortunately even Peugeot don't know what is fitted, giving 15 options

These are in the region of £2000 - £2500, and I imagine an engine out job to change. Scrap yard might be the best bet for a similar van?

That is a bad news. You wrote totally new part numbers.. so its more complicated than before :D
Have you got any close information to individual part numbers? for example, according to the level of equipment. that is the way, how i compared old part numbers.

the scrap yard is option too, but its same problem. need to know, which main wiring can use for my car...

With many wiring harnesses the VIN isn't enough, it often requires the 'tag' number off the original harness as the OP has found out, no good if its burnt out.
Buying new from a dealer could easily write the van off, would be mad to buy a new harness from a dealer.

Did you use the wiper motor bracket as an earth when jump starting by any chance?
