Electric Amazon van.
Plus a Tesla model 3 and two Leafeses.

All without moving. The others were too quick for the camera.

Another refreshing development in EV design, taking cues from Rivian and Arrival, and a dash of Honda-e.
Being German, something of a reminder of the classic VW Transporter/Camper?
The price is heading in the right direction, although the battery capacity is a tad modest on the entry models.

Plenty on the web about it.

The range figures are unbelievable, literally.

They state 10 kWh battery capacity with approx. 200 km range. I have to translate that into miles/kWh to make sense of it. Very good cars aerodynamic, light, efficient motor, may get 6miles/kWh at a push on a very good day averages winter and summer rarely get over 4miles/kWh. The Citroen Ami being generous can get nearly 8Miles/kWh

That offering with its flat face and 4wd is purported to get 12.4 miles/kWh out of a 10 kWh battery. Hard to believe even if is the size of a Bedford Rascal, and is the weight of a feather.

We had a company in the UK who provided a similar range of vehicles, it was called LDV.
They had an EV almost ready to go into production when TATA walked away.
A management buy out was proposed but needed a government loan which was denied so the Chinese bought the left overs and the Germans took over the market, hence the majority of our police and ambulance vehicles are Mercs VWs and BMWs.
The Chinese offer the LDV now as:

A boring grey VW ID3 in Hemel Hempstead! :)
I used to be indecisive, now I'm not so sure!
I used to ride on two wheels, but now I need all four!

Had a walk to the next village, passed easily a hundred cars, most in the school and church car parks.
Not a single electric among them.

Thought I had spotted one of the new Ioniq 5 cars in the rear view mirror, then it flashed past and all I got was the rear lights. Bit of a disappointment just a VW ID4.

Wow. Where? Do the scrapyard realise what a valuable piece of scrap they have there?
