Spotted this white Taycan today.
No good for me with that sort of ground clearance from the front end any sort of decent height kerb is going to do a reasonable wrecking job.

In the AMS auction yard a very dusty red Tesla, badge on the back said Dual Motor. Didn't have my camera with me though.

Definitely the first on the road spot, and I have never seen one, but James did spot this one some time ago on a garage forecourt. I would say it falls into the "unexplainable manufacturer doesn't want to sell them category". It could have sold very well, in the FIAT 500 type category, too expensive for what they are really, but appealing looks.

A huge white Mercedes. Had the type writted on my hand. Washed my hands. Big mistake. Big!
Also a similarly huge Audi, could only see the front. The side marker lit up green to show it was charging, given away by the electron hose shoved into the electron tank spout.

You might remember I have talked about Big John who works for a large House Developer. They are the ones that are installing EV charging basic wiring in their new build homes even if the customer doesn't ask for it. Well, he is apparently taking on a new company car shortly. His choices - Skoda, Kia or Mercedes. Guess which brand he opted for!
Pictures once he actually gets it.

Well if the 71 reg spotting thread is anything to go by, Skoda came out on top of the FCF spotting pile for September 71 reg. KIA smash the warranty and range properties, and Mercedes may just carry some expense baggage due to the name alone.

Never afraid to miss, I'll go for Skoda!

My assessment is slightly different. Mercedes build quality is not what it used to be. However as the company will be bearing the ongoing costs I am guessing that the perceived prestige value of the badge on the drive will tip John to the Merc, although I'd want to know the actual models the choice is between before making my decision!! :-D
