Glad you have sorted the issue - but there are some issues with accessing data for some DS Vehicles at present - the VIN is not being accepted on a lot of these. I have fired off a support request to PSA Groupe concerning this.

No problem Marc. All fixed now and running great again.

What is it that you do with the Vin Number? and what information can you get from this from PSA?

Wish I had found this thread at the start of my problems with our 3008 Hybrid4. A failing battery was masking a basic problem which itself only became apparent after I had sorted out the 12v service battery issues. What a font of knowledge this forum is -= it just takes a bit of perseverance to get there, as I have discovered.

If you have a list of codes/suggested faults/issues please put them up here and the little knowledgeable gnomes will be able to guide you and suggest a garage near you. There is a section devoted to garages near to you in the listing board. If you can't find it, just say and we will help.

My partner changed my battery which led to.numerous faults flashing up and error codes relating to electrical circuit fault.

Initially the remote key wouldn't open the car, or periodically when it did it would fail to start the car or cause other problems.

The BSI reset wasn't carried out, so I suspected they may be phantom errors, and aside from electrical circuit fault error flashing on start up, the car then drove and performed as it should.

Recently the brake caliper stuck on and various other warning messages and lights are now on, and the alarm has since started to sound periodically of its own accord. The brake pads have been changed and caliper sorted, DIY job, but the lights remain despite going off after changing pads etc.

I'm keen to know which garage Craigh went to as I think it's near enough to me and if they have experience seems sensible to go there

Thanks

Joanne,
You might try sending him a PM that he may respond to.

The only place I am aware of in the vicinity is Croxdale Citroën.
Never used them but have not heard anything positive about them although that was years ago.
Except the mechanic I use worked for them when he first came from Poland so is Citroen trained and it shows.
