Hi Everyone!

A forum for new members to introduce themselves to the rabble already onboard. Not compulsory!
Tell us a little about yourself, lie if you have to but keep it to just an introduction, not a car discussion.

Hi Everyone!

Post by cenk yuksel »

Greetings from İstanbul, Turkey.
I'm a 45 year old guy, married, had one little boy. My profession is(was) Architectural Restoration(Stone, Wood... old buildings in general), now i make silicone molds on order in my workshop.

I'll be a 2000 Xantia Activa 2.0 HDI(109) owner in a few days. I will try to make Activa great again(Oh not America, Donald, Activa!) :) It has still some issues to fix, try to fixing step by step and by the way renew/redintegrate most of it's parts as much as i can.

However i miss this topic and already ask for a few things, you guys had almost immediately answered. Thanks again...

It's good to be here :)

Welcome Cenk,

Car looks good, and no doubt, not much rust underneath unlike many cars from the UK.

Enjoy the forum and join in when you can.

This is an easy thread to join in with. Take a picture...post it up, doesnt have to be good , most of mine are not.
in focus :-D

Thanks Neil,

You're right, underneath wasn't bad as i expected, at least it's a 20 year old car and most of the car owners in Turkey didn't care so much about their cars. It has a winter pack; according to the mechanic, this car must be come to Turkey from a norther country, maybe Ukraine-Russia etc...
Whatever, i'll try to give much more care than it's previous owners, it will be a challenge of course, but i'm ok with it :)
