Re: Citroen C4 vtr+
Gramps1970 have a look at C4 Fusebox Thread .
I updated it recently and i can confirm that Eurocarcare supply a brand new unit, complete with fuses, all you need to do is undo a few screws/bolts and unplug the 4 big plugs,it also helps to look at how the plugs click into the new fusebox so you can determine how to unclip them from the old one in situ
And mine is a petrol also and had depollution fault lol

Re: Citroen C4 vtr+
Unfortunately we can only see the last 2 - the others are all blank - so I'll delete these shortly. But I see the fuel gauge is showing empty (no segments), and the dash has no readings in all the other instrument gauges. I cannot see how an ABS module can cause these issues at all - I think you have something else going on there.

Re: Citroen C4 vtr+
I will recheck the other photo's and see if I can get them to upload. The fuel gauge this morning when I went out to car was showing one block. Its really baffling me as I need to get it fixed as its my only form of transport for my son and I as we live out in the countryside. So could it be the engine fuse box

That would be helpful. I’ll then take a look at anything else I have about this issue.

Re: Citroen C4 vtr+
Ok, so I've been looking as some documentation and the common issue is that if there is an invalid signal or an error on the data networks, then dashes will be displayed as a backup mode. For oil, fuel and temperature displays, if the same applies these will not show any data.
So in my opinion you may have more going on that just a faulty ABS unit - because if there was a fault with the unit you would expect only that warning to come on and that the cruise control would be disabled. You would not expect the entire display to loose all data from the other systems. So my thoughts are that in addition to any fault you may have with the ABS module, the CAN data networks, the Engine Fuse Box or BSI may be suspect - but it is essential to get it properly diagnosed first or it could be expensive just replacing parts. As an example - I cannot see how engine temperature, oil or fuel readings have anything to do with the ABS system - and again, to reiterate, you do not have ESP only ABS.

I took it to a French car specialist in my area for diagnostics and that is what he came back with as the fault. Said it was the ABS ECU module

Re: Citroen C4 vtr+
Could the ABS ecu module affect all the other warnings and going into limp mode, or do you think it could be the main engine fuse box?
