Always going to be a long shot. That particular one sold was from the Patrick Collection, very low mileage and top of the range. and viewing the website for that collection produced a very nice image of Patrick Motors ICI petrol station for the Remember These.... thread for a bit of nostalgia wallowing :-D

My C5 :)
A red C5 drove up the street which is a Y shape and went up the far branch.
Reversed out then reversed up the branch that I live in and spent several minutes examining mine, There's looks better!
First C5 I have seen in weeks.

Saw an SM in traffic on the M6 yesterday. XEU 522K in a fetching maroon colour. Nice to see one being used.

There were one or two at Coombe Park, for the UK 100th.
Could have been this one...

Saw an AX diesel again today, on a K plate I believe. Faded red, and always seems to have three or four folks on board. Have seen it drive past us three times in the last couple of weeks...need to track it down one of these days so talk to the owner. Hopefully they know how rare a car it is!

A DS was one of several classic westbound on the A303 on Sunday but more surprising was a "Twizzle" just inside the gate of my local boot fair, which suggests it belongs to one of the organisers - & therefore not far from home.

Saw a BX hatch underway in Langholm at the weekend. Not close enough to see exactly what it was!

Spotted the unmistakable lines of something French, shortly after photographing the tarmac. Did a quick turn in, and there was the owner loading his boot with various bits of musical gear as he exited the pub.

Not only was it something French, it was a CX what I will decribe as a "saloon" ie not an estate, and it was his daily driver. Back home, well in the wilds he was busy restoring a Citroen DS purchased via e-bay, and had in the past resored many 2CV's.

Nice to see the daily driver was a bit of a workhorse still

Passed a BX on the A31 heading towards Farnham this evening, gave it a friendly toot (about the only thing the horn on a C15's good for) but no response.

Not seen anything of note for a while (aside from the red diesel AX which I've seen a dozen or so times now but have this far utterly failed to snap).

Then spotted a Saxo yesterday in the Aldi car park. Rare spot in itself, but was even more surprised to spot that it's a diesel too.

Now I tend to think I know most of the Xantias around here...so was slightly surprised to park one space away from this S2 HDi today in Wolverton.

Initially I was thinking it was a V6 which occasionally turns up, but thinking about it now I'm sure that's on an S plate...

Astonishingly lacking in laquer peel for a Dante Red car!

Edit: Never mind... seeing it not blinded by the sun it's obviously solid red...point still stands though! Sadly I had to head back before the owner reappeared.
