Very tempting ;)

Is this a monthly occasion Alasdair?

1st SUNDAY of EVERY month Jim.....

Great breakfast as well :)

It would be good to arrange a FCF meet up, I cannot think of a better place in the south West......just drop the wife/girlfriend/Husband/boyfriend off in Bath and get down there for 8/30-9am

Normally the car parks are thinned out by 11:30

Excellent! As the Haynes Motor Museum is effectively on the way to dad's I could call in there for breakfast and a good FCF meet and then proceed to dad's..

It would mean an early start but that's no problem for me...

I've pencilled it in the 3rd April then :)

Roll on next month!

If the weather is ok Jim, which it has been for 17 of the 18 previous events it's a good day out, they close the town and fill the roads and car parks with exhibits, pubs and eateries stay open all day and there's usually music from a number of different local bands.

Hmm, tempting but a bit of a run for the Saab at the moment. I'm trying to avoid too long trips until I can afford to either recondition or replace the alternator, and recently I've become slightly nervous about the gearbox - though I'm still not convinced that's not entirely in my head.

Could be a good long distance shakedown for the Skoda when she's back on the road in the next couple of months though...provided this is the sort of gathering where it would be welcome, had some disparaging looks from E-Type owners at a couple of shows! ...they're just jealous I've got a rarer car than them I reckon...
Current fleet:
06 Peugeot Partner Escapade 1.6HDi, 88 Renault 25 Monaco, 85 Sinclair C5, 84 Trabant 601S, 75 Rover 3500, 73 AC Model 70.
