With bells on!

Raking around in a cupboard a couple of days ago I discovered several tins of chocolates bought for the kids last Christmas*.
I could have sworn I had bought them but then couldn't find them so had to buy more. They have to be kept out of sight or my son will gobble the lot.
I'm sure there are some tins of biscuits somewhere too.
Still have the Christmas Pudding in the cupboard too :dunce:

*Never did find what I was looking for, whatever it may have been :(

Anyone seen any mince pies yet?

Can I commend Tom Lehrer's (anti-) Christmas Song. Must be 40 years old (but then so are some of the cars we love). Could post the lyrics - but you really need to hear it!

You think that's silly, watch a few Russian dash cam videos and prepare to get bombarded with "Date Russian Women" sidebar adverts. Google's prediction system still has a few holes in it!

Normally I don't give a rat's clacker about Christmas, but now - being attached to someone whose family actually get all "thingy" about it - means I have to consider the whole scenario of lost work time, buying presents, being nice; the lot... Think I will offer to dig a new sewer for the family, they've mentioned more than once it needs doing. So then, they'll be able to say "Hah, bathplug" while I say "Bah, humbug". :)

I've already stated bah humbug, but I suppose I will have to retract that, with two grandaughters now, and the oldest starting to speak and know stuff!
