When I see a children's play area like that I just want to play on it...

When my kids were young I used to take every opportunity to enjoy the play as much as they did. Now they're older I can't any longer but there was an exception earlier this year when our Karate club did an exhibition at a stately home.

Said home has a lovely play area not unlike the one in the picture but bigger. We did rather enjoy ourselves on it.

We had the excuse that we were supervising the younger members of the club whilst they played...

Maybe Cleveland was a northern thing Neil. I can't recall any down in the west country.

They did a spiffing advert though... :-D

No its not a Consul Jim, and its not another Henry, Glenn, Anna, or Harrison, but it does hail from the land of the Fresh Prince! No wonder it faded all that sunshine...would never happen in Northumberland!

I was indeed all dressed up in white but actually looked like this:

Since that picture was taken I've achieved a red belt and this coming Saturday I attend grading for my orange belt :)

Yes it wasn't really intended as a whatsthisthen? but the petrol flap with the tiger tail hanging out of it definitely came from one of these...a Chevrolet Bel-Air circa 1955

Gosh, you can really see where Vauxhall got the influence for the PA Cresta when you look at the Bel-Air..

I do like a bit of two-toneage, and the Cresta certainly had a nice variety.

Has the age of the nice two-tone been lost now or are there any nice current examples :?:

Some may disagree but I think the PA Cresta looks absolutely gorgeous 8-)

Shame they could rust for England and most did sadly...

Two-tone paint really sets them off a treat.

That is just lovely :P

I have a feeling the pink/white was a standard factory colour combination for the Cresta...

i owned a pink all over version for a while, till on route to Aberdeen ( didnt get far ) the gearbox started clattering and clonking,
so we parked her up in a BR car park and continued the journey by train, came back a couple of weeks later and she had vanished
