When i run diagbox i get non communication error on dpf and the dog icon is greyed out under error reading
Yet I can tell the pump to inject fluid and it works fine
If I swing across the connection should I get a V reading all the time if so what am I looking for
Any help appreciated

Re: Dpf non communication
What are you trying to do? ‘Dog’ icon? Never heard of it.
There is no ECU on a DPF. There may be an additive ECU, or there may not be one, if not, the additive pump will be controlled by the injection ECU.
If you can explain what the problem is and what you are trying to do, that might make sense.

Re: Dpf non communication
Should of read dpf not dog
When I run diagbox it comes up saying no communication with dpf I think it's the differential pressure sensor
It stays in the list and not moved to the bottom if there is not one fitted
Am just Trying to sort the faults on the car
Should the sensor have a live feed constant so I can check it
Not sure if that's any easier to understand sorry

Re: Dpf non communication
Ok, so here in the first picture are the diff pressure mechanical pipes 17 (inlet) & 18 (outlet). On the second diagram are the flexible pipes that connect to these (8) & (7); and on the third diagram Item (1) is the actual pressure differential sensor that the pipes connect to. This is designed to be a safety system to prevent regeneration if the filter is blocked.
If there is any available data from this sensor, then it will likely be accessed from within the Engine ECU itself. So go into there and have a hunt about for the readings.
