renault traffic heavy steering

renault traffic heavy steering

so, when making slight movements the steering feels heavy but when making more significant movements it feels fine, i can here a noise from the engine bay but not chaecked to see what that is, is the pump a likely suspect?

I would first suspect low fluid level.

Fluid level seems fine
