Lhr abs wiring fault
Hi all new member here.i have a problem with the lhr abs sensor. I've had a test done and its showing an open fault, any ideas how I can solve this .

Welcome to the forum.
Sorry if I am stating the obvious, but either the sensor is faulty, or there is a break in the wiring to the sensor.
I don't know how difficult the sensors are to change on that car, but if you can get at the connector you might want to check the resistance with an ohm meter. It is also possible that the sensor cable has got an internal break due to the movement of the suspension, in which case cutting and joining the cable near the sensor might make a repair.

Hi I've changed the sensor,I'm thinking of running two new wires to the sensor. Would the wires go to the abs pump terminals or to the ecu it's self .

You really need to get hold of a wiring diagram to check which ECU pins the sensor connects to. I have also read reports that there are a few cases where diagnostic equipment reports the fault on the wrong sensor, another reason for checking the resistance manually.
